SUMMARY:Tase Woolf - Introduction to English Paper Piecing
DESCRIPTION:Membership Type\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Members £35.00 GBP\n \n \n Non-Members £45.00 GBP\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nEnglish paper piecing (EPP) is a patchwork technique dating back to the 1770s. The techniques folds fabric over paper templates\, which makes sewing shapes such as hexagons and diamonds much easier than sewing with a machine. All you need to start is a little fabric\, a needle\, thread and scissors; as so little equipment is needed\, projects are really portable and can be picked up almost anywhere! \n\n\n\nIn this workshop you will learn how to: \n\n\n\n\nprepare the fabric for piecing\n\n\n\nhow to sew with an almost invisible stitch\n\n\n\npiecing the elements together and make either a needle case or a pincushion or starting your own quilt!\n\n\n\n\n\nExamples of English Paper Piecing
