Christine Green – Bust the Rules and Get Creative!
April 5, 2027 @ 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Christine has been patchworking since she was a child and have made numerous quilts and patchwork items over the years. She has a very creative and liberating approach to patchworking, throwing out most of the rules, recycling wherever possible and creating unique pieces. She reference her influences, Gees Bend and Boro, and explain some of the different techniques she uses. More recently I have been asked to renovate and reimagine some vintage patchwork panels and create memory quilts from treasured garments. She have been featured in ‘Todays Quilter’ magazine twice and won a judge’s choice at the festival of quilts.
