Jill Salmons – Costumes and Cultures of South America

Jill will be giving a talk on a study of costumes from 3,000 years ago to present day with particular reference to Peru, Mexico and Guatamala (Costumes and Hats will be shown).
Jill has a BA in History from the University of Warwick and an MA West African Studies from Birmingham University. She has undertaken 7 years of research in West Africa and research and voluntary work in China, Peru, Madagascar and India. Jill own a large collection of costumes.
