From Ann Smith. We all has a very creative and relaxing day with Debby experimenting with batik and silk painting. We started off practicing with silk paints and learning how to mix colours. Debby then demonstrated how to use the hot wax to draw on the silk which we then covered with paint, allowed it to dry and then repeated the process. It was a very exciting and unpredictable process which I think we all enjoyed. There was the usual lot of chatter and laughter throughout the day and a happy creative buzz.
