Suzy Wright – Organic Forms In Stitch

| Suzy creates detailed and vibrant stitched tapestries that resemble paintings through layering and blending threads. Each piece has a distinct personality cultivated from her love of animals food and the exotic landscape. She always wants to create a series of work that feels real and comes to life. After attending the University of Westminster, Suzy was an intern for Zandra Rhodes and then went on to work for Kaffe Fassett. Her talk will include how she started put an how she progressed, followed by a review of her processes and techniques. Suzy is based in Oxford and works at her embroidery each day in her studio.
