Yesterday we all tucked into a delicious ham and cheese Ploughman’s lunch which was organised by the Committee. Members arrive ready to enjoy the event so we thought you might like to see some fun photos taken beforehand.
Ann K demonstrated the over-locker machine and the embellisher and smocking machine were also on display. Recent work by Chris Cook’s Design to Stitch students proved very popular as did the folders and papers made at Lynda Monk’s recent workshop.
After lunch Ann Smith, who is leading the Ruby Anniversary Exhibition Committee, explained details of the Chairman’s Challenge for next year’s exhibition and encouraged all members to make a 10 x 10 inch entry in red, red, red.
