This month the Design to Stitch group were experimenting with various machine quilting techniques. This involved holding down cords and ribbons which were then cut and tied. Machining wadded fabric in place with satin stitch blocks and simple outlines. The results were as always amazingly individual, every one producing colourful samplers, which will be a useful reference for future finished pieces. How ever fast we work we always run out of time, a day isn’t long enough!
As the tutor I am always thrilled with the end results.
